If the task only needs a normal part or license, the Unlock-ToolKit will not replace that requirement.
2. Buy the Unlock-ToolKit
Use the in-game browser and open Gozilla Fairfox. The resolved player report points to the Binotaro tools and upgrades area. Look for the exact Unlock-ToolKit wording in your current English build.
This is why searching the ordinary license list can fail: the unlock is sold as software/tool progression rather than a standard device category.
3. Complete the delivery and installation flow
After purchasing, do not expect the ability to appear instantly at the workbench. Complete the mail or delivery step, take the installation media, and install the application on the shop computer.

This control sequence is community-documented, not an official control manual. Version 1.0.009r fixes the earlier Guitar Legend and MyPod firmware error, and v1.0.010r does not publish a newer firmware change. If either device still fails on v1.0.010r, report the exact device and screen as a possible regression instead of buying more upgrades.
Completing firmware work may also be the hacking/reprogramming portion of a qualifying Jack of All Trades order. That connection is community-reported, not an official achievement formula.
